Hydro blasting is a technique for cleaning external surfaces, which relies entirely on the sheer force of water from a pressurized source to achieve the desired cleaning effect on the intended surface. Abrasives, toxic and potentially harmful chemicals are not used in hydro blasting systems.
Although hydro blasters are fairly simple to operate, they can be dangerous if not properly used. A pump is used to increase the water pressure to 10,000 psi, with larger units capable of 45,000 psi or more.

Legacy Group's Hydro blast Technicians have over 100 hours of industrial cleaning experience can enter a career with Legacy Group Holdings, LLC as an Advanced Hydro-Tech.
An Advanced Hydro-Tech is a mid-level position which enables candidates with hydro blasting and industrial cleaning experience to learn the mental and physical demands of the industrial cleaning industry and the opportunity to expand their talents.
Hydro blasting deals with utilization of high pressure water blasting to remove slag build-up of hydrocarbon based material from units within a refinery or other industrial facilities.
Advanced Hydro-Techs will be responsible for assisting in the safe completion of field tasks related to industrial cleaning and industrial vacuum applications in accordance to the job scope related to an assignment as coordinated with the Advanced Hydro-Tech’s Team Leader.
